Drops of Amazon was cofounded by four entrepreneurs in Amazonia to solve a local and regional social health problem. The outcome of our mission will have a profound effect on the future ecology of the Amazon.
Breno took an exchange course to learn English at the University of Missouri in Kansas City when he was 16. Later he earned a degree in Environmental Engineering at the State University of Pará. He also holds a Masters degree in Water Resources and Environmental Engineering from Federal University of Paraná.
Breno is the founder of BM Engenharia Ambiental that has been working for 13 years protecting the environment through environmental licensing of potential pollutant companies in all states of the Brazilian Amazon.
He has been director of the board of young entrepreneurs in the Commercial and Business Association of Santarém for 13 years. He is a Rotarian of the Rotary Club of Santarém Aldeia, acting in the fight against poliomyelitis, waterborne diseases, illiteracy and toward world peace.
Breno is a co-founder of Drops of Amazon serving as the company’s technical and financial director.
Marcio also took an exchange course to learn English at the University of Missouri in Kansas City when he was 16. He earned a degree in Business Administration at IESPES University and subsequently a postgraduate degree in Marketing at UNAMA. He is the former president of the Young Entrepreneurs Council of the Commercial and Business Association of Santarém.
As a child he worked as a missionary in riverine communities in the low Amazonas with his parents where he created great ties with the people of the Amazon.
Later he made another exchange through the Rotary club in the United States to gain more knowledge about business management and entrepreneurship. He currently works in commerce in a network of retail stores with his family.
Marcio is a co-founder of Drops of Amazon serving as the company’s business development director.
Studied at the Teacher Training Center, Polyvalent School and State College in Pinheiro, Maranhao where he also served as Social Director of the Business and Commercial Association for four years.
Ronaldo participated in a community movement in the Elcione Barbalho neighborhood in Santarem for 13 years. He is a former Social Director of Assomipem and Conjove Council of Young Entrepreneurs.
He is a partner in Krol Vidros LTDA, a company in the glass sector providing services in the western section of the state of Pará.
Ronaldo was the original visionary of Drops of Amazon. He is co-founder and serving as the company’s social affairs director.
Eliézer earned a degree in law at Faculdades Integradas do Tapajós. At 15 he was a junior apprentice at Banco do Brasil. He worked in banking for years as clerk, cashier, agricultural credit supervisor, treasurer, support manager and general manager.
Later Eliézer assisted the Mayor of Aveiro serving as Secretary of the Environment. Then he served as Legal Advisor to the Participative Municipal Master Plan where he gained knowledge of the great difficulties and problems faced by riparian peoples of the region.
He practiced law in Itaituba and was called by the mayor to direct the tax sector of the municipality which he has done for years.
Eliézer is a co-founder of Drops of Amazon serving as the company’s legal director.
